Medical Secretary Vacancy
20-25 hours per week
Flu appointments still available
We are changing our website in the next few weeks. It will include something called Patient Access which lets you use the on-line services of your local GP practice 24 hours a day.
This will include ordering your repeat prescriptions, making an appointment with your GP and updating your details.
Patient Access is simply a secure web site that connects to your practice EMIS web clinical system where your details are stored. This is a completely free service to all patients. The first time you use it you will need to register and follow the instructions given.
We are also upgrading our telephone system in the next couple of weeks to help direct your call to the most appropriate department.
Please be patient and bear with us while these changes occur.
Friends & Family Test
How likely are you to recommend our GP practice to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?
Please take our friends and family test which can be found on the right hand side of this page.
Our staff come to work to care for others and it is important for all members of the public and our staff to be treated with respect.
In line with the rest of the NHS, and to ensure this is fully observed, we have instigated a Dignity at Work and Zero Tolerance policy whereby aggressive or violent behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Anyone giving verbal abuse to members of staff will be sent a letter from the Practice Manager explaining that this behaviour will not be tolerated.
Any future violation of this policy may result in removal from the Practice patient list. There will be no appeal process.
The Practice feels sure you will understand that proper behaviour is absolutely necessary for all of our staff and patients and that non observance will not be accepted.
